How to Save Money on Your Handbags and Still Be Stylish

There are a lot of ways to save money when buying a handbag besides buying a knockoff or fake designer bag. Instead check out the tips below on you can save money on your bag and still look stylish and you may even have enough money to add a few different handbags into your closet.

First, think outside the box. You don’t necessarily have to find an actual handbag to use as a handbag. For example there are cute camera bags or even laptop bags that you can use for a regular handbag. Whatever kinds of bag you can find on sale or on the clearance rack and it fits your style, I say buy it. No one is going to know that your everyday handbag is actually a camera bag unless you tell them and you don’t have to tell anyone.

Another way to save a ton of money on your handbags is to learn how to sew one yourself. If you own a sewing machine try finding a handbag pattern that you like and is functional for you and then find a nice fabric that is fashionable and fits into your wardrobe. You can easily make a nice handbag for less than $10 if you get the fabric on sale. If you don’t have a sewing machine or don’t want to take the time to learn how to sew, then ask some friends or family members if they know how to sew and see if you can pay them a few dollars for them to sew you a purse.

Lastly, you may be surprised at the handbags that you find on sale online as well as in discount stores. A lot of discount stores may have cheaper items but they are still pretty stylish. It never hurts to check out your local discount store or someplace like Target for a nice stylish handbag. A lot of time you can find a bag that is based on more expensive handbags but may be made with cheaper materials. Also check online at places like eBay as well. Just be sure that any bag that is claimed to be a real designer bag is authenticated before you buy it.

You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on a handbag to be stylish and trendy. Instead do some smart shopping or make your own handbag and save yourself a ton of money for other things like shoes.


Shamrock Necklaces Look Great with Green Clutch Bags

Shamrock necklaces are the perfect way to wish someone luck on their first day of a new job or some other major life changing event. There are two types of shamrock necklaces to consider. The first are necklaces that contain actual shamrocks, or four-leaf clovers, in them. The second are pendants that are stylized shamrocks made of gemstones or metal. Louis Vuitton – A Trip To The Store

There is something about visiting a Louis Vuitton outlet store that’s kinda mind-blowing. If you love fashion and designer trends then there is absolutely every need for you to find the time to plan a trip to at least one store at some point. Due to my job (I’m a stylist for a world famous fashion magazine) I get to not only see quite a few designer stores on my travels, I even get to meet the designers themselves!

Having been lucky enough to visit more then one Louis Vuitton store, I have to say that my favorite has been the time I was over in London and I got the chance to visit the one that’s to be found on New Bond Street. Just to digress – if you’re looking for an outlet in the UK and you (like many others around the world) don’t realize that Louis Vuitton do indeed have ‘outlets’ then click here for the address for the London store (and check your speakers are turned down – there’s music!).

The store itself stock a full range of LV products – from purses to shoes, accessories to clothing and much much more. The doors were first opened back in May of 2010, and the store has been a massive hit from the outset. Beautifully designed, the store oozes the luxury and class that we have come to expect from this world famous brand name.

From the minute that you step through the front doors, you feel as though you’ve been transported away into a world filled with rare works of art and utter decadence. From the tasteful décor to the opulence and obvious art-de-vivre – that’s very much a signature of Louis Vuitton – you know that you’re about to undergo an experience, rather than just another humdrum visit to a local store.

The staff are almost like the products on sale – beautiful, classy, there … and the whole ambience is one of ‘welcome, come in, do take your time’. Our purses serve to help us bring the things that we need when we leave our house, and they can store an array of items. In my purse alone, when I go out, I carry my wallet in my purse, my iPhone, several tubes of lipstick, eyebrow pencil, eyeliner, a pack of oil blotting sheets, my hairbrush, my sunglasses, 2 pens, gum, pins, keys, compact mirror, powder foundation, rings and bracelets, a small bottle of hand sanitizer, a tiny bottle of body spray, 2 different types of concealer, iPod and in-ear buds, an AUX jack, coin purse, hair clips – you get the picture.

Whether you work from home or at a company with co-workers who say, “I hate my job” all the time, if you’re a busy person, than you know how important being organized is. With women, one of the most frustrating things is having a purse that is all cluttered. It’s hard to find the things you need and having to almost dump everything out of your purse can get a bit annoying. So what can you do about it?

One option is to get one of those purse organizers. There are two types that you can get. The first type is where the entire purse is an organizer. This means it has a bunch of extra slots and pockets for you to store your items from makeup, to keys, cellphone, and even a bottle of water. The other type is the ones that are removable. The good thing about these is that you can switch purses quickly simply be lifting the organizer out and placing it into the purse that you are going to use. With an organized purse, you no longer need to dig through your purse to find your keys even if it’s dark outside since all you need to do is to feel for the right pocket.

Relieving Back Pain Caused by Heavy Purses

Let’s be honest – my back hurts all the time when I bring my ‘big’ handbags with me.  Yes, I know that the best option would probably be to just bring the little cute ones that I own, but I have a problem – I now have to bring tons of stuff for my baby (wet wipes, diapers, food, bottles, snacks, etc.).  There is no way I’m fitting that into my little mini purse.  However, fortunately, I have found a way to relieve my back pain and enable me to wear whichever purse I would like – using an inversion table.

Recently, I purchase an Elite Fitness inversion table, and I love it!  How it works is simple:

When I wake up in the morning (and before the kids are awake of course), I hang inverted for 5-10 minutes while I watch the news.  This starts my day off right and loosens me up so I don’t start with any back pain.  Then I load up my big purse and head out for the day!  Then, later in the day before I go to bed I hang for another 5-10 minutes to relieve any stress that has built up on my back throughout the day.  I also hang for a few minutes during the day if I need to (as in, if my purse really wacks me out of place).
